Profile
US dollar-Chinese Yuan (USD/CNH)

The US dollar is represented by this pair against the offshore Chinese Renminbi. The Renmibi is also known as the Yuan in its unit designation, and when trading within China, it is denoted by the letters CNY. The Yuan used to be pegged to the US dollar, but it is now allowed to trade with the reserve currency in a limited range on a daily basis. China is the world's largest exporter and the world's second-largest economy, trailing only the US. China has used currency control to help avert a global financial crisis and maintain its dominant trade position, an effort that has sparked accusations of currency manipulation.
